DELL PowerEdge T360 Tower Server Product Description
The DELL PowerEdge T360 is a powerful, single-socket tower server engineered to deliver robust performance and enterprise-level features for Small to Mid-sized Businesses (SMBs) and demanding Near-Edge environments such as remote or branch offices (ROBO), retail, and manufacturing.
Core Processing and Memory
This server is powered by a single processor socket that supports the latest Intel Xeon E-2400 series processor, offering up to 8 cores, or the high-performance Intel Xeon 6 6300 series for more intensive applications. It incorporates next-generation memory technology, featuring four DDR5 DIMM slots that support ECC Unbuffered DIMMs (UDIMM) up to a maximum of 128 GB and speeds up to 4400 MT/s (or 5600 MT/s depending on configuration), ensuring high-speed data handling.
Storage and I/O Flexibility
The T360 offers significantly enhanced storage capacity and flexibility. It can accommodate up to eight 3.5-inch SAS/SATA hard drives/SSDs, supporting a maximum storage capacity of 128 TB. This scalability is ideal for data-intensive applications. For enhanced reliability, the server supports dual M.2 NVMe SSDs via the Boot Optimized Storage Subsystem (BOSS-N1), isolating the boot drive from the main data drives.
Expansion is provided through four PCIe slots, including one high-speed PCIe Gen5 x16 slot, allowing for future-proofing and high-bandwidth connectivity. Additionally, the T360 can be configured with an entry-level GPU, such as a single 60W NVIDIA A2, to accelerate business-critical workloads like video surveillance, AI inferencing, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
Chassis and Management
The server utilizes a 4.5U tower form factor, optimized for office environments with a focus on manageable acoustics and includes an optional filter bezel to protect components from dust and grease. For operational continuity, it supports hot-swap, redundant power supplies (up to 700W Titanium or 600W Platinum), a crucial feature for mission-critical applications.
System management is handled by the embedded iDRAC9, offering comprehensive remote monitoring, configuration, and security management. The server adheres to DELL’s Cyber Resilient Architecture standards, providing enhanced security features for a Zero Trust IT environment.
